“[One Piece] is about using the power to go straightforward and pass the barriers and this is the important message conveyed to me. When I face the hardest barriers in the group, the manga often helps me break away from that", Kamenashi-kun recited.
Like last year, when Akanishi began his solo, the manga really helped a lot. When I felt "wouldn't this look too separated?", "is it good being off this way ?", when I was distressed, it reminded me of the scenes when Luffy and Vivi having to go separately. In order to protect her own country, Princess Vivi, who had been fighting alongside Luffy's pirate gangs, although wanting to carry on going together, but she had to go back to serve her country. Luffy's gang wouldn't be able to stop sailing, just like the ship named "KAT-TUN" wouldn't either. For Luffy's gang, friends are something special. For Kamenashi-kun as well, members are not replacable.

There were quarrels or punching each other (Laughs) and 'cause we have been through that time together then we will cross through the problems together. The bond is deepen. If we try to refuse it, there'll be nothing changed. We must not fear to face it earnestly.

Not just members, but also friends or people around you, I'll do my best for. “I think some people can create themselves as wiser men and they are more versatile than ever. When I look at those people, I feel my life progression is probably not good at all.
Kamenashi-kun said while laughing at the origin of that passion. The link between people is our gratitude.
“What has been taught to inherit from seniors is with me now. Because I have people closed to me to encourage me so I can attempt to go on. As everyone knows, people can't live alone. Even I can eat delicious food, even I can see beautiful scenery, from the bottom of my heart, there're always feeling that "if I could share our gratitude with friends or members, it would have been more fun". Staying alone is somehow lonely and even boring. (Laughs)
The dream of Kamenashi-kun is "happiness of people involved with me".
“Because we put in different opinions while working, if there're ones who can't accept it, we can't be successful either. Of course, the fans, those who've been watching me through TVs, magazines, are parts of my life. Not just that they keep pushing me but their laughters and impression, that are transmit to me even just a little, make me feel great too.
